It was past 9PM and I had decided to press as many shirts as possible, before I lay back ending up watching some you tube video again, or track backing the status of people on FB. That I will do "something worthy" at least this weekend. (yeah I know - as every time)
It is now officially more than a month, since I have started thinking about vacuuming my room. Lets keep that aside!

Spraying starch on my grey shirt with white cuffs n collar, which doesn't seem to be my favorite these days, I asked Pranata - "what do you wanna eat today ?"

After spending 2 and a half hour, sipping "Medium roast Brewed coffee" at Starbucks - right across the University St, opposite to our apartment complex, playing 'Temple run' for some time (I made that guy run and fall at least a 100 times into the water, crashed him into the trees, fed him to the black creatures. I know it is high time, I should stop torturing that poor character in the game). Then learning to play Sudoku from PJ & Pranata and later switching back to our recent addiction - solving online kannada crossword, shortly referred to as "Indicross" !

In between all this, I did inform PJ, "I should stick to this flavor from now". But then I remembered again, I tried the "Blonde Roasted Brewed coffee" last time, which tasted much better than this one.

We did not even realize that the big needle was trying to make a move past '12' when the smaller one was stuck to '8'.  My classic Nokia phone - still serving the purpose of its actual existence, trying to hang in there between all the Samsung's and Apples pointed out that it is time to get back. And as we stepped out of the shop, we realized the need for zipping our jackets and pulling back our hoods because of the chilling breeze..

This has been the trend from some time now. Head out to Starbucks, drink coffee, light some 'fire', and get involved in some interesting "discussion". The latter generally varied across various platforms from philosophy, quality of movies, about celebrities, about some irritating characters, and about why they should be considered irritating, about why our country is good and why is it bad, about what we can do in our Lives and why we are not doing it etc etc etc.

It was just a 3 to 4 min walk back to our apt, but it did not take more than a minute when the thought of "Running" towards our place poked in.
Marching faster, the chill somehow gave me the vibration required to humm one of my fav kumar sanu number again (Aankho ne, Tumhari meethi baato ne.. from Ishq Vishq) quiet naturally, thanks to my clear nose.

As I started pressing my fourth shirt now, the 2 new Kannada words that I learn today flashed across my mind again.'Shamantha' - I did not know, is another name of Lord Krishna. And the other one was "Kethaki" - a flower supposed to have been cursed and fallen from Grace.

Anyways, I asked Pranata again, "What do you want to eat Pranata ?"

"Anything is ok kano", she responded in her shrilling voice again, sounding like a kid.

Its my turn to keep the conversation going, "Puliyogare? Chitranna? Rasam n Rice ? or Curd rice ?, You name it, you made poori for us today..."

"Anything is Ok" she poked before I gave the last option. "Anything other than curd rice.." she corrected herself.
"Then go to the kitchen and start cooking".. I replied, laughing like a happy kid after achieving something, by pulling out a joke.
She said "hmmmmm..." and continued finding something in her iPad again, rotating on her chair..

'What did I do today ?' I asked myself. And before completing the question - the answer was in my eyes..
It was just like any typical Sundays these days.
I got up at 10:40 AM knowing it is sunny outside, not as shady n cloudy like the previous day.
Gulping approximately 2 ounces of water, followed by the nature's first call, I headed towards the kitchen and by the time I reached, I had forgot my purpose.

An usual peep into the patio - couldn't find the little sparrows. "Buggers - how come they come only on weekdays?", couldn't help noticing the almost bald tree again, reminded me of the fast approaching winter..
"Ufff..." trying to ignore it, I headed back to my room.
"Gosh! - Its Sunday again - and I haven't vacuumed my room" cursing myself for my long lasting laziness, picked up some junk papers, tearing them, threw them into the bin.

Kind of hungry... I looked at the clock - it is already 11 !.
I remember Pranata's "poori sagu" plan that she spoke about, the previous night before she left.
"I should probably call up & check with her ?" I was in kitchen again, but again forgetting the purpose, picked the garbage bags, sneaked onto my slippers and stepped out of the apt.

Cursing the beautiful fall for showering all its dry leaves on my mustang, I noticed a multi-shaded car, trying to recollect myself, "did Pradeep leave his car here, before heading to his week long trip?"
Throwing the trash bags into the trash can, I turned back to find Pradeep himself coming out of that car.

"Hey, How was your trip?"

"It was good, just that the fall colors were better right here" was his laughing response.

He had been for a week long trip to the smokey mountain, specially to witness the colorful fall.

"How come both of you are up so early today?" he asked me as we entered our apt.

"Oh, is he up too ? I didn't know"

After a short discussion about the trip and places and the fall and rafting and hiking and camping...
and after showing him the colorful fall's pic that I captured the previous day @ Peoria Heights, I couldn't stop asking again "Whats plan for the break fast?"
"I am Ok for anything." replied Pradeep.
I reminded PJ about Pranata's poori plan and got up to call her.
After 2 unsuccessful calls, when I returned to the hall, Pranata was already in our house, on call with her mom in India. Peeped into the kitchen and found these two guys in the Patio, exhausting hot air...

"What happened to your Poori plan?" I asked sarcastically, though I wanted to sound serious.

She laughed, by the time I noticed that she had already got the dough for the poori.
There was a short swirl of  a joyful satisfaction that passed by my mind,  that the break fast today is gonna be good. :)

2 hours later, our team of 4 'manufactured' more than 25 poori's and saagu looked promising too.All this time, it was raining outside, and it was "Rajanna special" super hit songs running in the background.
The delicious Poori sagu, was followed by PJ's special 'Chai' that went well with our 'fire'.
"What a perfect combination?" I nodded my head towards Pradeep n PJ, standing in the dripping patio, with chai in right hand and 'fire' in the other.

What followed after that was a classical epic Rajanna special movie - "Mayura" which was succeeded by an episode of "FRIENDS".

I was tired by then and stopped by my room and a quick look at the mirror revealed that I needed a shave, pretty badly.
By the time I was done, PJ knocked again, "Coffee ge bartiya ?"

I asked, "Elli? Starbucks gaa?"
